Team Luna Lilly Charter

This charter explains the purpose, benefits and expectations of Team Luna Lilly TCG. It applies to every member accepted onto the team.

1. Purpose

Team Luna Lilly exists to bring together players who want to compete, improve and contribute positively to welcoming local and online TCG communities. Competitive results matter, but reliability, sportsmanship and community contribution are equally important.

2. Games and non-exclusivity

The founding focus games are Echoes of Astra, Gundam Card Game, Riftbound and Grand Archive.

Membership is not exclusive to those games. Members may play, compete in and support any other TCG, and may list additional games on their team profile. Members are not prevented from joining ordinary playgroups, testing groups or game-specific communities.

3. Eligibility and selection

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old during the initial program.
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
  • Luna Lilly may consider conduct, reliability, community involvement, competitive interest and how well an applicant aligns with the team’s values.
  • Tournament results are welcome but are not required and will not outweigh poor conduct.
  • The founding roster will be kept deliberately small and may expand as the program develops.

4. Membership term and probation

Membership is offered for a six-month term. The first three months are a probationary period so both the member and Luna Lilly can confirm that the arrangement is a good fit.

Membership may be renewed following a review of activity, conduct, communication and continued interest. Renewal is not automatic.

5. Initial member benefits

Initial benefits are limited to:

  • A subsidised Team Luna Lilly jersey after successful completion of probation.
  • A player profile on the Luna Lilly website.
  • Access to a private team space for discussion, testing and coordination.

The jersey subsidy amount, supplier, sizing and member contribution will be confirmed before an order is placed. A member who contributes toward their jersey keeps it after it has been supplied.

Benefits may change as the store and team develop. No additional benefit is promised unless Luna Lilly confirms it in writing.

6. Expenses, cards and prizes

  • Members normally provide their own cards, decks, sleeves, equipment, tournament entries, travel and accommodation.
  • Luna Lilly does not currently guarantee store discounts, free products, entry fees, travel funding or cash payments.
  • Any one-off assistance must be approved before the expense is incurred.
  • Members retain all prizes and winnings they earn unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing before a specific event.

7. Member expectations

Members are expected to:

  • Treat players, judges, organisers, customers and other team members respectfully.
  • Follow tournament rules and avoid cheating, fraud, harassment, discriminatory conduct or deliberate disruption.
  • Communicate honestly and respond within a reasonable time when team coordination is required.
  • Contribute positively through play, testing, teaching, event participation, community support or similar activity.
  • Provide accurate event results and, when comfortable, occasional photographs or updates that Luna Lilly may request permission to share.
  • Avoid presenting personal opinions as official Luna Lilly statements.

There is no fixed social-media posting quota and members are not required to perform scheduled promotional work.

8. Team name, profiles and content

Members may identify themselves as Team Luna Lilly members during their active term. They must not imply that Luna Lilly is paying expenses or providing benefits that have not been approved.

Website profiles, photographs and personal links will only be published with the member’s approval. A member may ask for their profile details or photograph to be updated or removed.

9. Private team space

The private team space is intended for respectful discussion, deck testing and coordination. Members must not share another person’s private messages, deck information or personal information outside the team without permission.

10. Activity, concerns and ending membership

Activity will be reviewed reasonably across each term rather than through strict weekly quotas. Members should tell Luna Lilly if work, family, health or other commitments require a break.

For ordinary concerns, Luna Lilly will normally discuss the issue with the member and provide a reasonable opportunity to improve. Serious misconduct—including cheating, harassment, threats, fraud or conduct that creates a material risk to the community or store—may result in immediate suspension or removal.

A member may leave at any time by notifying Luna Lilly. When membership ends, private-team access and permission to present as a current team member also end.

11. Nature of the program

Team membership is a voluntary community affiliation and is not offered as employment, contracting, partnership or authority to act on behalf of Luna Lilly. Members remain responsible for their own tournament participation and personal activities.

12. Changes to this charter

Luna Lilly may update this charter as the program develops. Current members will receive reasonable notice of material changes and may choose not to renew or may leave if they no longer wish to participate.

This charter is a practical program policy, not personalised legal advice. Luna Lilly may obtain professional advice before introducing paid work, regular required promotional duties or substantial financial sponsorship.
